Sukošan is a charming small town nestled in the spacious bay of Zlatna Luka, just 7 km southeast of Zadar along the Adriatic Highway. The local economy is primarily based on tourism, agriculture, viticulture, olive cultivation, and fruit growing. Today, Sukošan stands as the municipal centre, encompassing the nearby towns of Debeljak, Glavica, and Gorica. The municipality is home to around 4,500 people, with about 3,000 residing in the town of Sukošan.
